Genjo Sanzo (the prototype of a wandering monk) is a prince who makes a great journey to India in search of the Holy Sutra. (Sutra is a scroll of Buddha's dialogues or conversations with his disciples.) On his way, he meets a half-girl, half-demon, half-monkey Goku, who was punished by powerful gods a couple of centuries ago for shamelessness and debauchery. By cunning, she makes Sanzo rip a leaf with the Buddha seal from her crotch and gains her freedom. After thanking the young man in full (like that six times in a row), at the same time and delighting his own flesh, Goku liked the contents of Sanzo's trousers so much that she decided to hit the road with him. And, I must tell you, from that moment on, the wanderings of the protagonist were no longer at all like the dull journey of a lonely traveler. See for yourself!
